All during Jeanne and Marc's eight years of marriage, Marc has been unfaithful. Jeanne leaves him for Antoine, a safe athletic executive in his fifties. In the meantime, Marc has met Samantha, an intelligent high-class call girl. The two couples set up house together. They lead a happy life until a misunderstanding tips the scales and breaks up the odd arrangement.

Blaise agrees and soon discovers the joys of going to the casino and living in the lap of luxury sourrounded by lovely women and money. But his luck runs out, he loses all his winnings and a wretched Blaise returns to Cassis.

As luck and love would have it, the screenplay ends up on the desk of a big American producer, who agrees to put the show on Broadway.

Mister Julien grudgingly agrees to postpone his retirement. From then on, his life becomes chaos as his nephew's curiosity and his mistress' fickleness cause him no end of trouble.
