Martin witnesses the explosion of a booby-trapped car, he even has a photograph of the alleged terrorist. He then suddenly becomes a sitting duck for the media who want him to talk and for the Secret Service who want him to shut up. In self-protection, he decides to handle the investigation himself, spreading mayhem in the process. Martin manages, nevertheless, to unravel the murky affair.

One night, a badly injured stranger rushes into Anita's apartment and then drops down dead on the carpet. Unfortunately, his father comes back early from a trip and, completely unaware of the contents of his trunk, immediatly takes off for Switzerland. Determined to set things straight, Jean-Pierre and Anita go after him.

His suspicions are making him so miserable that his mother tells him of her past misconduct. The confession prompts Pierre to abandon the woman who gave up everything for him.
