A business magnate dies and three people are competing to take his place: Georg, his main partner, Alain, a young financial wolf, and Anna Maria, the group's proxy. Georg kills Alain, leaving evidence that incriminates Anna Maria before setting up her suicide. But Alain had devised the same plot against Georg, who dies, too. Anna Maria is accused of both murders. Laurent, the diplomat in charge of the investigation, will do his utmost to prove her innocence.
