While investigating the destruction of an American base in the Pacific, Hubert Bonisseur de la Bath, alias OSS 117, meets Eva Wilson. She works at the U.S. Embassy and is blackmailed. Just as she is about to deliver a secret code in exchange for some incriminating photographs, she gets kidnapped by a mysterious visitor.
