The Journey through French Cinema that Bertrand Tavernier offered us in theaters (released in October 2016) turned out to be too short for him to introduce all the directors and all the movies from 1930 to 1970 that he wanted to share with us.
Therefore, he proposed a new TV show in which he will take us to meet René Clément, Henri-Georges Clouzot, Julien Duvivier, Henri Decoin, women directors, Claude Autant-Lara, as well as composers who made french films' music an art by itself, far from Hollywood' spotlight.
